This is a perfect 1/500 scale model of the Space Battleship Yamato from the anime of the same name.Actually in North America and parts of Europe, the anme Space Battleship Yamato was changed to Star blazers because of reasons unknown or some say because the name Yamato is the same name this space battleship was inspired from which is the WW2 Japanese battleship Yamato and that might offend some people.
I could actually say a whole lot more about the anime, but that is not why we are here, but because of this Space Battleship Yamato model kit.
This is a 1/500 scale model of the original anime and not the new version. It comes with move-able parts like the turret. There are also at least 6 smaller fighter jets and support ships included which you could see just above the name plate on the picture. Some assembly as required, but there is no need to paint.
